Paddywax – Design and Crafts

Every Paddywax candle starts with a story – a place, an idea, a feeling. That story is then translated into the vessel and the scent. The team in Nashville creates every detail: from the materials and shape to the packaging. Their perfumers source ingredients from nature’s finest raw materials around the world to create a scent experience that matches the color and style of each vessel.

Usage advice

  • When using for the first time, let the candle burn for 3–4 hours .

  • Let the wax melt over the entire surface before extinguishing – to avoid a pit in the middle.

  • Place the candle on a stable and heat-resistant surface .

  • Never burn the candle for longer than 4 hours at a time .

  • Extinguish with a candle extinguisher to avoid splashing of hot wax.

  • Do not handle the candle until it has cooled completely.

  • Keep the wax surface free of wick residue, matches or other debris.

  • Cut the wick to about 6 mm before lighting the candle.

  • Don't let the candle burn all the way down.

Tips for reusing the vessel

A) Freeze the vessel

  1. Place the used candle jar in the freezer overnight.

  2. Tap gently against a soft surface until the wax comes off.

  3. If necessary, use a tool to break the wax into pieces.

  4. Dry and wash the container thoroughly.

B) The hot water method

  1. Pour hot water into the cold vessel.

  2. Wait until the wax comes off the edges.

  3. Remove the residue and wash the dishes clean.

👉 When the candle is finished, the vessel gets a new life - use it as a bowl, storage or decoration in your home!
