Vineyard Candles has taken the scents of the world's most famous drinks to create a range of fantastic scented candles!
Vineyard Candles Cocktail Collection Harvey Wallbanger. Their glassware is pure craftsmanship from repurposed wine and beer bottles, inspired by bottles from local Cornish vineyards. Where each bottle is cut and ground by hand and the rims are flame polished to give the glass its perfect finish. The luxuriously hand-poured natural wax candles are spiced with trendy drink-inspired scents (Harvey Wallbanger a rich cocktail with star anise, vanilla and citrus fruits) and come packaged in a beautiful gift box.
The first time you light your candle.
You’ve just received your beautiful scented candle and you just can’t wait to light it! – but it’s worth being patient and waiting until you can burn the candle properly – as the first burn is the most important. You should let the candle burn for at least 3-4 hours so that a large molten pool forms over the entire top surface of the candle.
Maintaining a large melt pool ensures that you get the most out of your scented candle. If you burn your candle for shorter periods of time (especially the first time you burn it), the candle can create “memory rings” that limit the size of the melt pool. To get the perfect candle, keep your wick trimmed. Do this regularly to prevent a long flame. This is important for a clean and smokeless burn. Never try to burn the candle to its last drop as the base can get hot. The last bit of wax in the candle can be removed by soaking your candle in warm water. You can then use your glass as a drinking glass or a pitcher.
Lighting safety is mostly common sense but it's worth repeating!
Never burn your candle where there is a draft. Never burn other objects in your candle or place your candle where something could touch it, fall into it (i.e. near plants, curtains, etc.) or where children or pets can reach it. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Before leaving the house or going to bed, check that you have extinguished your candle properly. Always burn your candle on a fire/heat resistant surface.
