Completely immerse the egg in a container of water with a temperature of about 20 degrees.
Usually within 72 hours the eggshell will break and the western dragon will begin to hatch. If the water level is low, add water. Make sure the egg and western dragon are completely submerged at all times.
Keep the water temperature at around 20 degrees. Change fresh water every four days.
Once the egg is fully hatched, leave the open egg in the water and the western dragon will continue to grow to its full size within about 20 days.
