The Brontosaurus is one of the most famous herbivorous dinosaurs from the Early Jurassic period!
The Brontosaurus from Schleich® DINOSAURS has a long tail, a massive body and a narrow neck! The name Brontosaurus means "ridge lizard". The dinosaur weighed about 15 tons and was 22 meters long. So far, only a skeleton and no skull have been found of the Brontosaurus, but it probably had a fairly small head, just like the Apatosaurus. Scientists previously believed that the dinosaur could hit its tail like a whip to scare away attackers. Schleich Dinosaurs is a product series filled with lifelike animals from the lost age of dinosaurs. The detailed animal models are made of high-quality plastic, after which they are carefully sanded and checked.
